FAQs
Where are you located?
We’re based in Blythewood, SC.
What areas do you provide service?
We proudly serve all of South Carolina, as well as southern North Carolina and northern Georgia.
Why do you have an 850 area code?
I grew up in Florida and joined the military right afterward, so I’ve kept my original number. However my wife and I have lived in South Carolina for many years and consider ourselves Carolinians at this point!
What is the difference between mulched and completely cleared land?
Mulching leaves a level surface with mulch on top, which is great for landscaping and gardening. Complete clearing involves tree removal, de-rooting, and rough leveling the area for a more extensive land preparation.
What are the benefits of mulching?
Mulching efficiently clears your desired area without disrupting the structural integrity of surrounding plants and trees.
Do you purchase trees?
No, we clear trees but do not purchase any.
How much do you charge per day or by acre?
Pricing depends on the specific work needed and the density of vegetation. We offer free quotes, with remote assessments and in-person quotes available within a 50-mile radius of Blythewood, SC. For in-person quotes outside this range, we provide an on-site assessment for a fee, which will be credited toward your project if you decide to proceed.
Do you offer any discounts or special pricing?
Yes! We proudly offer discounts for military/veterans and first responders with proper ID. We also offer referral discounts for clients referred by name.
Is there a minimum number of trees required for service?
No, we can handle single-tree removals or clear multiple acres of trees.
What equipment do you use for land clearing?
We use a range of professional-grade equipment, including a forestry mulcher, excavator, skid steer, and chippers, ensuring we can efficiently handle projects of all sizes and complexities. For more details, please see Our Equipment tab.
Do I need to prepare anything on my property before you begin?
Typically, we ask that any personal items, vehicles, or temporary structures are removed from the work area. We’ll advise on any additional preparation steps during the assessment.
What happens to the wood and debris after clearing?
We offer options for debris handling: we can leave it piled for you on-site, haul it away, chip/mulch it, or burn it onsite if permitted in your area. We’ll discuss these options with you to find the best solution.
Are you insured, and what does your insurance cover?
Yes, we are fully insured! Our insurance covers potential liabilities and protects both our crew and your property, giving you peace of mind throughout the project.
Can you clear areas with power lines, structures, or water features nearby?
Yes, we are experienced in handling projects near sensitive areas like power lines, structures, and water features. We’ll assess the property to determine the safest approach and work with relevant utility companies if needed.
